August 06 They took the Kirkland ship away!Mike Torres talks about how he used MSN Virtual Earth to remember the geography of Kirkland, the Seattle neighborhood where I live. Sadly, his trick - using the big white ship at Kirkland marina as a reference point - won't work for much longer. Why? Because they took the ship away, after it served 8 years as a breakwater and local landmark. We'll miss you, big white ship :(
